Can You Overdose On Water Conditioner

sometimes i may use more water conditioner than i should.but can putting too much water conditioner in harm the fish etc?

depends on how much more you add. A lot of people overdose purposely just to make sure all the gunk in the tap water is gone. however, that doesn't mean you should add like 5x the normal amount. I usually ad about 10-20% more than what the instructions say.

X5 no i dont go over board.i just add a little extra.about 10% to be precise.

I always add more than it says on the bottle just to be sure I've not miscalculated. I'd never dose more than the maximum for the tank size though
