Can You Id This Gourami For Me?

they were given to me, there is actually a pair of them, I am assuming male and female, they are always together, but this is the one i got the pic of.

One is about 4" and the other 3.5"

thanks, i had no idea, as I dont ever keep gourami's. will they breed? Cause i dont really have them in a tank to do so.

yep definately a Pearl.

generally speaking I dont think they'll try to breed. The males build bubble nests anyway before any breeding will take place, if you have any current in your tank then he wont be able to build one so they wont breed.

in a general community they will not breed males build bubble nests and need lots of surface vegatation so you should be fine they like a planted tank anyway though to make them feel secure

Pearl Gouramis are my fav. Also known as Lace Gourami. Such a super fish. Beautiful and peaceful. I've kept them for about 20yrs now,- but none have ever bred. You wont be disappointed with your new additions.
