Can These Live Together?

Hi ScoutCarcer :)

I don't see why not. It won't be overcrowded, if that's what you mean. :D

Actually, I have to disagree (sorry Inchworm!). I don't think the Molly will work. Regular Mollies will get to 4", and even the smallest type, Balloons will get to about 3". Sailfins would get way too big at 6". Usually the smallest you should keep Mollies in is a 10 gallon, and even that is pushing it for some types.

If you want a Livebearer, why not try a Platy? They'll stay a bit smaller. Or even Guppies.

Thanks for correcting me, Annastasia.

I thought mollies only got about as big as platys. :*)

Just to add to what Annastasia said, most livebearers don't like to be kept alone either. If you want something small enough to be kept in a 7 gallon but in a group, endler's livebearers or small guppies would work. Stick with 4 or more males in both cases so any aggression is spread out 9endler's are better about getting along than guppies). I'd also suggest heavily planting the tank to make everyone feel more comfortable. I don't think ADFs eat shrimp but ask in the amphibians + inverts section about that specificaly and I think there's also a pinned topic on caring for ADFs you may be interested in.

My guppies hate my small molly and the shrimp. They cant live with them and I dont have the money for more fish.
