Can Tetras And Guppies Go Together

Im not to sure but i would say yes :) but get tetras that dont nip, like rummy noses, cardinals lemmon tetras? But dont get Serpae tetras cos they like to nip... others with more knowlage about this will know.

i have got scissor tails will they be ok

i keep guppies with neons , black neons , glowlight tetras ,x-rays and (for all thoses people who told me not to)a male betta(amongst others)
i have never had any probs with them but a friend of mine had probs keeping some of the lager tetras with guppies(black widows, buenios airies and zebra danios)
in th end he gave his guppies to me.

If their water preferences match and the tetras aren't nippy then yes. For example x-rays are compatible with them.

i have 5 scesses tails
& 1 s/m plec

so what do you think
how many fish would you add

i will be them together B)
hpoefully they be fine  -_-

Well first of all scissor tails grow a bit too large for your tank. The guppys will be fine if you have semi-hard and neutral water.

Hmm, a tricky question. It would probably be best not to get any new fish until the scissortail-question is solved. Scissors grow up to 7-8 cm(3 inches), in my opinion 40 gallons is the minimum for these guys. How old are they?
Is there any chance you could swap them in your lfs for other fish?
And what is the specie of your pleco?

i have guppies, 2 scissortails, and a tetra all getting on fine together in a community tank :)

they seem particularly hardy as well
