There are numerous species given this common name and while being a catfish enthusiast I have no idea what family this is from, fish like these need expert eyes from people that discover/collect fish as their paid profession, such as those at PlanetCatfish.

I can tell you most "Whiptail" type catfish enjoy a strong current, but that is about it!
