Wow TheSilentPerogy thank you for all of that information!! You explained it so well!! I've been searching around on the net trying to find information like you wrote but I couldn't find much. I'm glad you decided to join TFF..I hope you stick around. Like you said about the snails it's probably unlikely that I have the exact species of snail able to complete the trematode's life cycle. They arn't wild caught either so that brings down the chances a bit too. None the less I will quarentine them like a few have suggested also just to be on the safe side.
