is it worth getting a tank at 10% off because it is ex display. its from maidenhead aquatics so i know it wont be broken in any way

do you still get the usual 2 year warrenty etc? the only problem is that they have the lights on during the day so they might be a bit rundown

all comments appreciated

If the tank looked ok, no scratches, cabinet was ok, i'd go for it. Best thing to do is ask about the warranty, then you'll get a clearcut answer.

yeah i will go in and give it a good check out. if i see scrates a few small scratches i will ask for a bit more off. i have seen it once and it looked fine but i didnt look closely

10% off for ex display is a bit tight to be honest.. in fact it is very tight....

I've bought an ex-display tank from a Maidenhead Aquatics and have not had any problems - got 10% off plus some free water conditioner, plant fertiliser and flake food thrown in. In my local shop however they don't put the lights on in the display tank so had no worries there.

i always get second hand
but totally up to you Tom
If you're happy with it and the price then go for it :good:
