Can I Get?

i have:

4 neon tetra
1 cardinal tetra
2 black neon tetra pair ( i had 4 of them but they killed the other to because of something to do with mating )
3 rummy nose tetra

i have a 18 gallon fish tank. i really want some sort of platy/molly/guppy. what would you recommend that wont fight the other fish.

how many should i get? male or female or both? what do i do about babies, i dont want alot only 1 or 2 will the tetras eat the others if i take 1 or 2 out??

personaly i would up the neons to 10 instead but... if you want a livebearer go fro something smaller like an endler .. then the fry r just munched

You can have a platy, molly, or guppy. If you get 2 then make sure they are both females so there is no aggression. If you get one then a male or female will work.

dont mix guppys and mollys as they can crossbreed - plus the tank isnt big enough for mollys with the other fish you have in there
cos of the size of the tank - i would up the tetras to 5 of each

you shouldnt get a male a female livebearer for that tank -
guppys and platys 60+ fry every 4 weeks , mollys can have 100+ fry every 4 weeks
the tetras you have wont eat all the fry and you will be well overstocked

if i bought female endlers will the have fry?? and if so how much and will my tetra be able to eat it?

about 20 and itly probably leave the fry alone
