Can I Cycle With Media From All Frog Fish Tank?

Hello,

I've been reading about cycling for the past little while and I was wondering if it would be okay to add media from an established frog tank (55 gallon, 4 African Clawed Frogs) to a 10 gallon tank? Does the media need to come from an established fish tank?
Side note: I haven't set up this aquarium yet. It's still in a box. I would like to add a Betta or several male guppies to this tank.

I should think so.
Though im not any good with frogs wether anything is different than fish or not.
But take some of the already used filter media and add it to your unused set that up and keep a read on the water levels, and cycle it without fish to see what happens.
