Can I Add This Wood To My Tank?

hia i was out theother day and found this so i was wondering if i could use it in my tank, maybe a stupid question either way but im not sure so thort i had better ask

i have no idea what tree it used to be,it was just lying about in the park

Hi, looks like Silver Birch but as far as puting it in your tank, not sure. Sorry, interesting as it is I wouldn't even after preparation

you could drop it into the local creek for a year and then it would be safe to use. But without knowing exactly what it was and if it is completely dry inside, I probably wouldn't use it.
