Can Hondurans Live With Acei?

Thinking of getting some Honduran red tip fry. Also seen acei fry for sale locally. Can they be kept in same tank as adults if they grow up together? I know you shoiuldn't mix OW and NW cichlids but the acei are local and used to London water ph 7-7.5

I'd say no, not because of the PH which acei would be fine with, but because one group or the other would fail to thrive.
