Yeah my friend bought me him today which was a surprise but his tail is not particularly large/long and he hasn't flared at anything in my tank as he doesn't appear to be particularly aggressive?
His body is a pale pink, white a neon green outline and purple finnage he does look nice even tho he has a ginger top!

Looks like a Cambodian Veiltail perhaps? lovely colour though his tail should be longer than that is he getting nipped by the other fish?

looka like a crowntail maybe and it looks like its tail has been nipped, possibly in your tank or at pet shop?

Not pale enough to be cambodian, the colour is what we usually call salamander. Looks like a veiltail with badly nipped fins. If you isolate him or remove the fish that are nipping him (this probably happened at the shop so probably already been done) they will grow back, but they are likely to be curled and slightly paler.

Yeah he only arrived today and he is absolutely no bother and does not attract any unwanted attention! Let's hope his fins do grow back!
Thanks Guys

I have a Female Crown Tail like that, she has similar markings and the same colour. its a cambodian.

Traditional or Red cambodian is when the body is very pale cream or white (we call it platinum if the eyes are blue, and dilute if the eyes are black or brown) and the fins are red. Blue cambodian is platinum or dilute body with solid blue fins. Cambodians have been crossed with other colours to create the white body with another colour fins, but these types aren't 'set' - that is, they don't breed true.
Salamander has a pale pink or lavender body which shines blue (pearly iridescent) in the right light. A lot of the time the area between the rays in the tail is also pale blue and iridescent. So the fish in the photo on the first post is a salamander.
