Can Anyone Help Please!

Can anyone suggest where I could get my boys some coconut shells? Our local pet shops seem to have stopped doing them? Or could I literally buy a real coconut and then put the shell in? Yours all look so cute and I know my boys are due a tank change.

Oh cool thank you - just out of interest which ones did you get? As I don't want to get the half medium if it's too small for them - or the large if it takes up all their tank - if that makes sense? Sorry - so many questions.

What size is your tank? I got the same as Natalia and i got the large full size coconut and its fine!

If your tank is about 5 gallon you should have no probs!

Marlie was the one who told me about zooplus I ordered 3/4 size and I`m happy with it. I ordered it on Friday and it arrived following Thursday and they send it from Germany, so it was very quick.

Ooh its in Germany? Don't let that put you off, ie ordering form abroad. Its comes very quick and the shipping is really cheap!!! (i think it was free with my order! If you go over a fiver...)

I didnt even know it was abroad, thats how quick it is!

Yep on my parcel was address from Germany, but I agree it arrived super quick and I`m very pleased with they service and caves. I spent around £15 and payed just over £3 for DHL delivery. IMO it`s still a good deal.

Oh maybe my shipping wasnt free... Im not sure... i did add a hamster ladder for some reason, oh yes! Order had to be over £5! Sorry im making things up here. It is still cheap shipping!

Tesco's are selling coconuts 2 for a quid. They cut real easy with a hacksaw. Take out the flesh, sand off the fibres then boil for 10 minutes to take some colour out....easy

I then got some Java moss, spread it over the surface and held in place with a hair net (2 for 79p from superdrug) hot glued to a perspex base.

Pheonixbaby recommended zooplus to me...I ordered JBL Coconut Cave - 1/1 (Size L) and JBL Coconut Cave - 3/4 as I didnt know which was which...so thought if I ordered both...one was bound to be right...does anyone know which are relating to the pictures? LOL
