Cameroon Fan Shrimps

Hello

I'm hoping to put a cameroon fan shrimp in my tank. I think they're great

I was wondering; Will I need to have the water properly cycled first? Or will it be ok cycling?

I can't really find much info about these

They shouldnt really go into a tank if its still cycling. Shrimp arent the hardiest of invertibrates or fish, so i wouldnt risk it.
At least after its cycled you'll know they will be fine.

Shrimp in general are completely intolerant to ammonia and nitrite - both found in cycling / new tanks. So do not add the shrimp until the tank is absolutely established.
