Camallanus Worms

Can someone help me. My guppies are showing signs of the camallanus worms-red stringy bits protruding from their anus. The fish farm had never heard of the worms and gave us Interpet #12 for anti crustacean parasites but I fear it is not right.

Does anyone know of a treatment that is easy to get hold of in the UK and where I can get it?

No that won't work on them, plus now they have wiped your bacterial colony out in your filter.
Might as well strip the tank down now. find you some info. I've had them there is a med but i couldn't get hold of it levimsole but you need a certain ph, plus the med can be to late as they cause bacerial infections on top.
