I bought this fish last week to go in my Severum tank with a Gold & a Wild (Redneck) Severum. I quite like it, however im not sure about its name, they called it a Red Rot Severum (or Punk Rot Severum) at the LFS (possibly because it has a rusty reddish coloured anal fin), ive not heard of this name given to Severums before and wondered if anyone knew a more commonly used name for it?
It is still a juvenile of 3" but I get the feeling its a male. Although not shown in the picture below it does sometimes show very feint vertical greyish coloured bands and its belly area looks a little more speckled than shown in the picture.
