C02 Defuser ?

For easy that D and D kit would be fine :) just google disposable co2 cylinders to find cheap replacement cylinders.

Not sure about solenoids yet getting one this week myself :) but basically, when its on (i.e the power is running to it) the CO2 is running, when its off the co2 stops.

Wont think it'd be that easy to install the cylinder wrong, but not actually seen this kit face to face so cant really comment, but wouldn't think so :)

D and D kits are a rip off imo and the bottles are small, why? a fire extinguisher is loads cheaper

Yeah but where will i find a fire extinguiser lol !

And i dont think i know of any refill places !

I think i want this D&D kit looks fairly simple for a n00b like me

And i wouldnt mind dishing out the 15 quid or whatever it is every so often for the refills !

Which would only be every 1-2 months or soo as Sam has guessed !

But if in future i wanted a refillable canister would it fit all the gear that i get with the D&D kit ?

Thanks !

Richie

The company I mentioned will courier you one for £35 and it will last for over a year, thats a lot better than little bottles and an expensive c02 regulator
Just look in yellow pages or on the net for fire extinguishers.
As far as I know the D&D stuff wont match anything 'normal' although anglia aquatics do a connector to suit normal bottles, but that costs about £15 I think when they can get them

Thanks guys arrrrhgg !

im sooooo confused now !

I still think D&D will be easier

And i know itll cost more than Paulf's solution

But i think itll suit me more

Ie just order the refills when needed !

And then i could adjust all my stuff from the D&D kit to use a refillable canitser when i get a little bit more expieriened with the whole c02 thing !

Thanks alot for all your helps guys !

I think ive made my decsion on the D&D kit for just now !

Thanks again

Richie

Just one more thing,

Make sure you already have a spare bottle in, before the in use bottle runs out.

What are you Sam, the worst salesman in the world?

I never profess to being more than I am :p

And yes R1ch you'd just need to order more refills when needed. My 500g cylinder lasts around 2/3 months, but it depends on the bubble rate, and given that this is a large-ish tank would think perhaps last 1.5/2 months?

Refills for larger cylinders, say 6kg would be cheaper if you can find a refill shop :)

Sam

I'm lucky to get 4 weeks out of my 500g JBL refill. London tap water probably to blame-liquid cement.
