Buying Some Fish From Atleast 1 Hour Away

Hi all
Iv finally found German blue rams after ringing around problem is its atleast one hour away if I buy the fish an put the fish bag inside a cooler bag would this keep them warm enough to travel home with?

They'll be fine for that amount of time.

They'll be fine for an hour, you can always tell the member of staff you have a long journey and ask them to double bag them in a larger bag than normal to be safe, no one would question it if you did ask at least... if they did, im not sure I would shop there again!

iv travelled 7 hours in a car with an oto and almost 9 hours with a bag of 10 shrimp they'll be fine

They will be fine, but just tell them you have some distance to drive. When I got my Pictus catfish it was a 2 hour drive. I told them this and when they bagged the fish they pushed out all the air from the bag and inserted an airhose and put in pressurized air till the bag was full almost looking ready to burst. I dont know if it was pure oxygen or just compressed air but the fish got home with no problems
