Just a quick question has anybody out there ever bought plants from Greenline Aquatics in Spalding Lincs. Inoticed you can buy plants singularly or in set packages for your own size tank, i was wondering what the quality etc was like. Perhaps you know of other webb sites for plants, looking forward to your feed back

Many thanks Ian

Yeah its a reliable good supplier reasonable prices and good quality. Aquaessentials is also a very good site the plants are not as cheap but the quality is excellent.

Its your first post welcome to the forum,

I would Second that. Greenline Aquatics are Fab. Bought from them last week. Great packaging, quick postage, fab selection and really good quality plants. Good price too.

Greenline are excellent, I moved to them to try out over a previous supplier, and the fact that Greenline pack in boxes and not padded bags is superb. No more squished plants, and last time I ordered plants they were massive, ended up with too many!

Greenline - quality good, cheap and decent selection

Aquaessential - quality the best in the world (by vitue of the tropica plants they sell), not so cheap, but have a range of less common species, not availalbe elsewhere

Thanks guys your input is much appreciated did any of you buy the aquarium packages? do you think this would be a good way to go for newly well planted tank with views of good lighting and Co2 injection. I wanted the normal set up back ground mid and fore ground planting with 2 large pieces of bog wood as a centre piece. This sounds like the way to go for me as i,m not sure of which to get or where to plant, unless you guys have any suggestions of how you would do it do it ( plant species, quantity and positioning) Tank size 36L x 18H x 15D

thanks Ian

Add another vote for greenline, got some lovely big java ferns off them a while back.

Yeh the packs are a cheap and easy way to get plants into your tank, try these first then as you get more experience you can start adding plants of choice depending on what you like and what your needs are.
