Buying A Betta

If you're looking for a bog standard vanilla blue/red CT then definitely visit your local Petsmart or Petco. They sell both kinds. In fact it's 50/50 VT/CT at those stores. The CT are about double the price of the VTs though. Sometimes they get pretty unique Bettas there to. As a matter of fact I got my Cambodian VT at Petsmart.

I saw a really nice yellow crowntail at my Petsmart.
