A hard to get shot, as he spends a lot of time picking around, and trying to photograph a 1.5" fish in a 3ft squared tank is pretty difficult! Plus my GT kept trying to get into all the photos

You can't really tell from the pics, but he has coloured up nicely and is showing some blue hues now :) He's also grown and we've only had him since last Friday.

Nice little con, I have 4 large males, stunning long fins on them, right tough little blighters too!

They're awesome fish, think they are underrated as everyone just thinks of them as breeding like rabbits  Mine won't be though as I just have the one

Must admit I do love my 4 males, I was planning on having one of my tanks with just convicts in, but ended up with frontosa  I have some babies, but planning now on just keeping females as they are a little prettier coloured. They are a fantastic fish.

I saw some Cons in Maidenhead Aquatics who had orange and greeny flecks on them, looked really pretty, don't know what type they were. Already had Burt though  J/K, I'm happy with the little fella :)

i love these fish i am
going to have a go at breeding
them again he looks cool

If the orange flecks are on the belly they are female, males done have orange.

There was some orange and green in the dorsal fin, most unusual. Pity I couldn't take a pic really.
