Im currently cycling a freshwater setup for them....its around 4 gallons so i was planning on getting 3, as ive heard they do better in groups and they only get to 1" so theyd be fine.
The reason im putting htme in FW is that the LFS keep them in FW
Now,my plan is to gradually introduce a little bit of salt each water change (which is twice a week). If i add 2-3 grammes of marine salt per litre...is this sufficient? Do i need a hydrometer still doing it with these precise measurements?

If memory serves correctly you shouldnt raise the SG more than 0.02 per week. This will maintain the bacteria
