i have had my aquarim for 4 months its 80L i have dwarf gourami and golden gourami for 3 months. recently added a honey gourami which the golden gourami is constantly chasing, he has also started chasing my swordtails. Do i need to get rid of him, no one seems to have died as a result of his bullying yet and as time goes on he seems to be just chasing the other fish rather than concentrating on the honey gourami. i font want to get rid of my golden one unless i really have too!!!

You could try removing the bully for an hour or so if possible and move some of your tank decor about then re add this fish, it sometimes helps.

I've had several gold gouramis over the years who have bullied all their tank mates. I currently have two females. They swim happily with the mollies in their aquarium, but attack each other, - and chase all the other gouramis in their tank. No signs of things changing,- so one or both will be going to new homes if they don't settle soon. Too much stress on the other fish.

Good luck with yours.

Sadly, I had to get rid of mine as it was bullying everything in my tank. I tried removing him and re-arranging the tank like a friend of mine suggested but I guess being the biggest fish in the tank at the time it just didn't help. It was a temporary fix like maybe a day or so.
