I have one snail, one Male Betta and one plecostomus, what else can I put in my tank? It's not that big at all but it is empty. I hate it when people walk into my room and ask me why I have an empty fish tank with water in it. What type of plants, rocks etc. I want the tank to look natural that is the look i'm going for I am a very natural person but not so wise when it comes to Fish tanks.

WoW sorry about the grammar. Pheeww that is bad.. In no mood to retype that. Just read it slowly.

Size? Water parameters?

I ask because Bettas are usually kept in small tanks while plecos in larger..

That's way too small for any plecos I know of, but would take 6 ember tetras OR espei rasboras.. maybe some shrimp as well if your Betta is peaceful. Do you know the species of the pleco?

It looks a lot like this

thats a common plec and requires a minimum tank size of 4ftx2ftx2ft i'm afraid.

whats the height of the tank, we need all 3 (height, length, depth) to work out the volume and therefore advise more suitable tankmates :good:

Definitely find that pleco a new home as soon as possible or your tank will be doing him permanent harm. That species should be kept in tanks no smaller than 5*2*2 ft, which doesn't really compare to yours.

Ember tetra or espei rasbora suggestion still stands. For wood, see if you can get some small pieces of bogwood. Plant wise, try Java moss, Java fern, Anubias and any of the easier Hygrophilas if you've never kept plants before. The first three suggestions need to be tied to wood or rocks.
