Seen these guys acting like they wanted to breedā€¦ but no caves in this tankā€¦ this is a solid piece of driftwood, and this guy has been rasping out a cave over the last monthā€¦ they donā€™t belong in what has become my African tank, but so far, they have been too hard to remove from this tankā€¦ heā€™s determined to get a breeding cave for his girlfriend ā€¦ Coryā€™s I can finally move next week

Yes, but doesnā€™t look naturalā€¦ if he wants a cave bad enough, heā€™s making his own
 
The pipe can go behind the plants if you don't want to look at it. Or just somewhere less visible.
 
Pvc pipes can also be coated with silicone then rolled in gravel or sand before the silicone dries.
 
I have several similar in my South American tank... the 2 Plecos in there prefer to go under a big piece of natural driftwood, in that tank... the dwarf Cichlids like them though...
