Bubbles

I saw this in my Betta tank and I heard that bubbles could be a sign of some chemical imbalance in the water, but knowing Betta fish they make bubbles nests so I was just wondering if it was a nest or something i need to worry about.

Could be if betta is male. Otherwise, more surface aggitation could clear up the bubbles.
