I was just wondering if this is normal, I have one goldfish in a 20 gallon tank, cycled etc, everything is fine in the tank, and i test it weekly with a master test kit, but just in one corner of the tank I have noticed a line of bubbles forming, i do think the goldfish makes these, the tank has a fluval 1 plus filter, and the water is very clear.

I've seen this before and in the conditions you describe I think its fine and nothing to worry about. Sounds like he/she's having fun. :D

yeah nowt to worry over, how's sharky liking his new home then?

Loves his new home, much happier and brighter, he used to just sit about at the bottom of the old tank, probably with all the toxic ammonia in it!!
It is so much easier now, i just clean him out once a week, changing 25% of the water, everything is stable, and the ph has remained at 7.4, which is fine for goldfish.
I am so glad I found this forum, as I now spend less time on the tank, before I used to empty the whole thing out every 3 weeks, and used to dread doing it.
My son is back from Uni next week, and as the tank is in his room, I wonder what his reaction will be, he used to complain about the smell of the tank, but it is odourless now, and crystal clear! :good:

Brilliant! So pleased it's all worked out for you. :good:
