Help! I looked at my male betta this afternoon and he blew a bubble nest  ! I have a female too(not in same tank). I didn't want to breed them because then I have to deal with the eggs, and the feeding, finding homes for all the fry, and the betta's might get hurt -_- . What should I do? Should I ignore the nest? Do I clean the nest out? Do I have to breed them? HELP! :S

P.S I never breed bettas before so if I have to, tell me tips on how to do it. -_-

Update: Sorry, I was a little crazy a the time

:hyper: you have a happy boy that is why he has made a nest. my boys make nests all the time...it gives them something to do. it doesn't mean they want to breed, my boys will destroy the nest if they seen one of my girls. Sounds like a contented boy :good: :good:

unless you have a lot of time to donate to the fish, ignore the nest. taking care of over a hundred fry can be a hassle at times

I can think of something I'd like to smack with a spade til it breaks..... :sly:

Be happy that you have a happy betta man...... and let him build his nest as much as he wants to.....
