My crown tail male is so proud of his bubble nest. He's constantly inviting the female over for a visit. She does and then....... starts laughing and leaves. She's even tried to help him... to no avail. His nest is the size of a dime. He never has been a good bubble nest builder...

Any ideas???? Anyone???

Maybe transfer a nest from another male? Giving him a little bit of head start might prompt him to build...

I seem to get this a lot with my CT.

Either that of she'll destroy the nest and sit under the cup and chase him away as if to say 'oh no you don't' and he's like 'but you were flirting a moment ago!' :grr:

So wat I do is pop my VTM in who builds the biggest bubblenest ever, let him out so he can find it, then let her out and she's like 'so you finally got the idea the!' He's like ??? :fun: :hey:

Hmmmm, just read what I put and it don't make much sense!

What I meant was pop the VT in to bubble nest, something he seems to do for a hobby! Take him out, pop the CTM in then the female.

I guess it's not really fair on the VT as he's not getting any jollies but why my CT is so useless i don't know!
