Oh yes they are. They never stop moving. If I approach the tank and make it look like I'm possibly going to feed them, then they will shoot up and skim the surface..looking for food. They are also attracted to where my hand goes near the tank and have a jolly old nosey round. Great fish.

Youre hoplo looks tiny compared to the other fish surprised he hasnt got chomped yet lol.

hoplos have a big strong armour that protects that ... armoured catfish thing ...
