since i brought a couple of hollow logs home from a fishing trip i found for my bristlenoses the water has gone realllllllli brown i thought it would go brown but not this brown. i treated it for 2 weeks before i put it in the tank. is this still bad and i should take it out do water change and treat it again longer? or is it fine im just over reacting. :)

water changes will do the trick. though you could remove the wood and boil it to remove some more of the tannins.

Water changes, if that doesn't do it, water changes plus take the wood out and treat it again.

Adding activated carbon to the filter will also take some of the brown colouring away.

That said, the colouring leeching out of the logs probably won't do anything nasty to the fish, keep testing the water and observing your fish for any odd behaviour, otherwise you should be ok.

lol im sure i read something like that before. just cant think where!

an empty dishwasher will do the trick, though you will need to clean it before and after.

could you explain exactly what you mean by treat? other than soaking and boiling, I'm not aware of any other treatment.

lol ok! thought i may be missing something.

in the short term this may help, but i feel water changes, will be much better in the long term. not all the tannins are removed by carbon, though they are if you remove water. and carbon removes thing both good and bad from the tank. unless you have a properly sorted carbon filtered tank, this can cause problems.
