Brought some plants to night of ebay...

Couple of cuttings of pogostemon erectus
A small amazon sword
Portion of riccia
Portion of Xmas moss
Portion of willow moss

Is a list of what i brought. (I anit a clue what theres are or what so brought them anyway for the new tank.

Started too put them in and ''what a mess'' Like grass cutting throw emptyed in and the mosses were all free floating also lended up and right. Iv binned what i think is riccia just looked like fennal  green tips how are you ment to accomadte this stuff? Just have it free floating round the tank?

The mosses are now sitting in a pair of thights at the bottom of the tank stuck in the corner till i find out what too do with them..?

Any advice what too do with the mosses as i dont want to bin them also......

right, well riccia is a floating plant, but you can tie it down to a stone or something with fishing line and it will grow out, eventaully the light will cut off the riccia at the bottem and the whole lot will float up again then you just retie it, the moss should grow well, maybe even in the tights but you can tie that down to wood or milk crate sides  there all fairly easy plants to grow so you should be ok with them. as  for the riccia, once its in your tank its hard to get rid of. i had 1 bit and now my tanks full again, i love the stuff though and so do my shrimp

Ill try that and tie the moss off. Will it eventually anchore its self to say the wood i bind it to?

it should do yes, it does take awhile though
