Broken Heater - Cold Sailfin Pleco!

Hi,
In short - my heater is broken - how long might my Sailfin Pleco last <please>?!

I have a 20gallon tank at work with 1no 8" Pleco, I've had a phone message to say the heater has broken, but I didnt get the message until the office was closed. This particular weekend I definately cannot get access to the tank/office - do you reckon my Pleco will last till Monday morning?!

(Maybe) Helpful facts about my tank / vicinity.

My tank has been setup at work for a year with no problems.
Only a 1no Pleco as it was kept at work due to lack of space after moving house.
The office heating is not on at the weekend - weather report says on average 15C for the weekend - but it is a brick building.
Err... the temperature is usually 81F/27C with the heater.
He's about 4yrs old & very hardy - has survived a tank wipeout & various sick fishes for company over the years!
He survived overnight when the cleaner unplugged the heater & filter one time and appeared unharmed!!!
I'd better go I'm waffling on and on!!

Hard to say to be honest.

I'd say he should be ok.... Make sure you go in with a heater on monday though

I hope its broken in the off position

Hi,
All is fixed now, the temp was at most 19C (bottom of the scale), he was fine, didn't look to good - fins down and not much colour; but 24hrs later he seems OK, he's just pooing for England!

Oh good, I hate having to wait to see if a story turns out ok. on this board. I'm glad he's ok

Sometimes I got to threads that run to 3/4/5 pages and check there was a happy ending then go back and read the whole story and sort of build my own suspense - even though I know it turns out ok in the end, lol
