Woke up this morning to find the filter on my tank wasnt working, taken it apart and cleaned it but still not working, ive only had it 2 months so the shop i got it from will replace it, only problem is this will take about 2/3 days as it was an online shop

I only have and airstone with pump, and also a small submersible aquarium pump at the moment, i have a 220l tank, will my fish be ok for a few days? Will the bacteria die off on the filter media from the broken filter?

Put the bubbler in the tank now. It also shouldn't hurt to put the submersible pump in to help with circulation. If your media is a cartridge then just put it in the oxygenated tank and it should be fine for a while. There will likely be a die back of the bacteria, but it won't all die.

I'd try mucking with the filter impeller and see if you can't get it going. As long as the impeller is not physically broken, then it should spin. They like to stick, but it usually happens when it's turned off for maintenance or after a power outage. Its broken right, then take it apart and clean it. The impeller should just pull out, but magnetic force will be trying to pull it back into the pump. Once you can see the impeller, try plugging it in and nudging the impeller to see if it starts spinning. It won't hurt to run it a couple of seconds with no water.

EDIT: I guess it goes without saying to keep a close eye on ammonia and nitrIte levels and do plenty of water changes in the meantime.
