I have a 37 gal highly decorated tank.
Currently I have 3 mollies my stocking plan as of now is:
The 3 mollies
3 platies
6 panda or peppered cories
1 dwarf gourami
And either BN or RL pleco.
Which would get along with the cories best or are they pretty much similar?

Is that just a personal preference or is there a reason?
RLs get bigger and make more mess :). They are also more likely to be wild caught and therefore more sensitive. I have a BN and he gets on just fine with the Corys, in fact I often catch the Corys sleeping up against his side. If you are looking at a pleco for its algae eating capabilities you may want to consider Otos instead (Otocinclus). They do need to be in groups but are much smaller than BNs.

To your original post what is your pH and hardness. Platys and mollies do best in harder alkaline water while Corys and Dwarf Gourami prefer soft, slight acidic water.

I wouldnt recommend Dwarf Gourami. They are very prone to disease and not really known as good community citizens.
