Bristlenose Catfish

hi.

can anyone advise - this morning i noticed one of our bristlenose catfish against the glass and its under belly looked swollen and lips not right. within an hour
after i went back to check on him he had died.. Last night one of out large angels died also. We noticed he wasnt eating and his eyes were slightly cloudy...

We do regular water changes and are due one now, which we will do tonight, but its an established tank - 3 years or so and large. surely cant be down to needing
a water change?

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
What do you feed the fish.

Were scales sticking out.
The lips were they bleached out.
Any cotton strands coming from the lips, or fluffy cotton wool on mouth.
Any redness to the mouth.
Cam the fish close it's mouth.
Could the swollen lips be due to an injury.
