hi
my bristlenose is changing colour from dark brown with light spots/marking to pale fawn with light spots/markings is this normal or is there a problem
all stats are normal
20% water changes every 3 days

This may be a sign of stress, possibly due to poor water conditions. I notice in your other thread you say your discus are hiding under the Cabomba.

What are you using to test your water with and what are the actual readings?

Mine changes in an instant whenever he feels threatened. Same with my clown plec in a different tank. They both turn back to normal colour once they are ok again. Unless you have reason to worry about your water stats or he seems to do it for no reason, I wouldn't be too worried personally.

ive got no worries with the stats the tank has always been stable and used all the media from my old filter straight in to the new one.
only really noticed after i had moved some of the decor and did a water change will keep an eye though the same could be for the discuds hiding as ive changed there old hiding spots around
thanks though and to prime ordeal for your input too
