hey
didnt know where to put this so put it here
was just wondering how long it takes shellless brineshrimp eggs to hatch?
coz i hav sime in a hatchury but cant remeber how long they take to hatch
thanks

it depends if their stated to hatch, then 24 hours.

But the deshelling process can some time kill the eggs and thus impossible to hatch

yea i bought it in a set and just forgot how long it said they take to hatch,
im hopin they will hatch to feed my fry
i thouhgt it was 24 hours which means they should hatch tonight really
thanks anyway

ok then thanks
well i just looked in there and i really cant tell if they hav hatched or not tbh
coz there in a hatchery that u attach to the air pump and it keeps the eggs movin obv so they dont fungus i guess but jst dont know if they hav hatched r now
i was wondering do you think this could be used for normal fish eggs to? or is it not good to keep them moving?
thansk

Turn off aeration for 5 mins and hatched shrimp sit on the bottom and swim around.

Cant use for most fish eggs as the aeration is to viggerous.....

Zogo jar's (think thats the spelling) are good for carp and gold fish eggs, but nothing unless your thnking of rearing 1,000's of fish

Or for mouth brooders u can get egg bubblers to simulate the brooding process

only thing wiv this hatchery is that its hard to see to the bottom to see if any hav hatched, do you think could pour them in a jar and then look and if they havnt hatched just put them back in the hatchery?
o rite thats cool i didnt know that
i wana get som mouth brooders oneday just cant find any around here
thanks anyway

good thats something, so what u feeding them to may i ask?

Ok i know swords love it as all fry do, and they grow like stink with it, just need to make sure u do weekly water changes as it dose pollute the water quicker than normal foods.
