Just youtube it. It's ridiculously easy. I am a 19 year old girl and I figured it out. Takes like 10 minutes and there are tons of youtube vids on it.

As far as eggs go, essentially what you want to look for is the highest 'hatch rate' (eg. 70%, 80%, and so forth).

Also, San Francisco Bay has frozen bbs, I noticed. But live are far cheaper and too easy to pass up.
