I agree, have a looked into the pinned articles at the top there are many excellent links for this species including breeding. The general thing is you need to condition the male and female separately, you need to help all along the way and can't leave them to it as such, the female gets taken away after spawining and the father then needs to be kept an eye on. He needs to be taken out at particular point and then the babies need keeping eye on and all separating when old enough to ensure no one fights and this is all done before getting to the store. Also the process itself, housing of the bettas and also the food needed for the fry and to ensure grows is a lot of work and a lot of money that generally will not get the money back from what the shop pay you. I would do a lot more research and consider the costs, you can't just have one tank etc, personally I would save money differently as you will need to plough money into this and may not get a great return.
