hi people i have signed up to this site today been looking through everything and people on here know loads. Wicked

I have a 3ft tank with two partitions so three tanks i have a undergravel filter is cash wasn't good would of done the sump other wise.

Do i have to put a heater in every partition???

Thanks and there well be many more question

I have three tanks now the misses is not happy as i told her i am getting another 2 next week lol

:hi: to TFF!

You could test it out.

Say you put the heater on the right side of the tank along with a thermometer, then put another thermometer way on the left side.

Turn the heater on and see if the two thermometers are the same temperature.

If the partitions have decent sized holes in them you should be ok with one heater. But like FHM suggested you can test it out.

What are you planning on breeding in there?

thanks mate

i really don't know what to start breeding i have done guppy's and the easy stuff in communal tank was thinking about kribs

Kribs are a doddle to breed, just make sure you have somewhere to rehome the babies to as you can get a spawn every few weeks. I stopped breeding them as I could not get rid of them..

yer i know i have got 2 3ft tanks partitions into 3 each so i have 6 tanks

anyone know of anything else to breed with arnt easy but not to hard??

How about praecox rainbows or some of the other dwarf chichlids like cockatoos?

cockatoos look nice think i might look at them how do they breed in a cave or out in the open
