Breeding Malawi's

Hi, i have recently set up a malawi tank and am wondering how big the fish need to be before breeding, i dont think any of mine are breeding size but am looking at buying some of breeding size but preferably not full adults. thanx in advance

I set my tank up with the first fish in October last year. They were all about 1-2 inches long and they were breeding by February, so it should happen pretty soon, my advice would be to enjoy watching them grow and form their relationships and if they are happy and the environment is right there will soon be in the tank .
