I 'spose my topic is somewhat misleading.
My albino/bronze cory's breed all the time, and I have succesfully raised quite a few fry and traded them in at my LFS.
However, my ratio for success/failure is way higher on the failure side.

My eggs more often than not go fungusy.

I suspect temp may be my problem as it seems the only time I have success is in the summer when I have the air conditioner cranked, whereas in the winter the heat is on and we keep it on, Canada-winter=Heat on.
What about water flow? My cory's always lay they're eggs on or around my filters.
This creates another problem, when they lay they're eggs on an inlet, I'm forced to remove them, naturally as carefull as I can.
I use a blade, or something similar.

**heh, they're going at it again as I sit here**

Thanks geo7x.
I have read that article you wrote, as well as many others.
I have had my cory's breed many times, most of the time just out of the blue as I really dont "try" to get them to breed.
Again, I have successfully hatched and raised several batches of babies to adulthood.
Problem is fungus.
I know I should have a good flow of water around the eggs, and I have always done this with a small powerhead, but I still keep getting fungus on my eggs.
I think I may know the problem if it's not a temp problem.
I've been moving the eggs into a mesh breeding net, to keep the adults away from the eggs, being careful to not expose them to air.
I put the powerheads next to the net, maybe the net isn't allowing enough water flow on the eggs?
Anyways, I'll try it again, with the mesh net, but use a larger powerhead.

Thanks, I will update in a few days.

I've had my bronze and albino's breed and all I do is roll them off the tank glass and pop them into the whiptails tank, there are snails in there and just a sand bottom. The eggs drop whereever they want and the snails seem to keep the fungus off them, never had any fungus up at all, the only thing is that I turn up the aerator a little bit more to move the water around but other than that nothing special just the snails.

Huh, cool.
So I should be fine putting them in a mesh net.
I dont have any snails though, so I'll up the water flow and hope that works.
Thanks for the replies.
