Breeding Colors To Guppies..

Hi,

I am a beginner in guppy breeding.

I have bred guppies but have loads of doubt on selective breeding techniques..If someone could shed light on that it would be quiet helpful...

I plan to breed and develop colors and larger tailfins...

If you are serious about breeding guppies, you need to go out and get a guppy genetics book. Guppies are probably the most studied of all the livebearers and whole books have been written to describe their genetics. If you have a particular final color and fin shape in mind, it is best to start with something close to minimize the number of tanks and the number of generations needed to move from what you buy to what you want.
If you are like most of us and just want to play around with colors a bit, go ahead, it won't hurt anything but it won't get you far either.
