Ask yourself a question or two.
Do you have the time to watch the process, so that a fish that is being knocked about can be rescued and rehomed instantly? Remember that this could be either the male or the female.
Remembering that male bettas, even at a very young age, will instinctively fight each other, do you have enough space to have enough small containers to house the males individually. Do you have the means to filter each container, or the time to carry out daily water changes on each container?
Are you going to try to sell the fry once they mature? Where are you going to sell them? Why would a LFS buy them from you, when they already have their trusted suppliers, and don't know the quality of your stock? Why would a hobbyist buy them from you, rather than from a LFS?
