Breeding Betta Help

i have 3 betta 1 female and 2 male(seperate tanks)
have male and female in a one gallon tank seperated by a divider
female displaying stripes but male wont build a nest
how can i help the male
or should i switch the males

add a small piece of polystyrene to float on the water, this should give him somewhere to build, also feed with live food 2 x a day for 2 weeks, this should get him started, or remove the female and let him settle and he might well build a nest and then add the female in the divided side again and he should build it even bigger and better when shes in view,your gunna need a much bigger tank really to spawn them in as she will need the room to be able to leg it when she gets tired or scared and esp when the spawning process is over with.
