Right, the list of defos I'm getting are going to be as follows;

3 x Honey Gourami (Trichogaster chuna)
3 x Panda Garra (Garra flavatra)
6 x Checker barb (Puntius oligolepis)
10 x Hangel Rasbora (Trigonostigma hengeli)

Still looking for ideas for another bottom dweller if poss. Also still trying to research the Badis

just to chime in my chinese barbs in a group of 5 are about the most behaved fish i have so far, they are indeed non nippy and are a lovely fish to have especially when starting out, mine are impossible to kill and have not been sick when my tank has been in 3 waves of sickness, only fish to not show signs, they are really low maintennce and mine have been up to 3 weeks with no food (vacation) i just fed them a ****load before i left
