Had 3 questions in regards to cross bracing a tank:
1) In theory, does bracing allow more water pressure/weight to be applied to glass without it shattering or bowing? Example, 5mm glass should only hold 20 gallons, but now with a brace, it can hold 25 gallons?
2) Is there a benefit of a thicker brace? Example, tank glass is 5mm, you use an 8mm thick brace.
3) Instead of just a central brace, would a brace also on each end of the tank top provide even more strength?
Thanks
