I usually wait until they start grouping like that to move them to a grow out. It's so much easier to just cup them by the dozens! And the funniest part is...those who manage to avoid the cup and watch their siblings mercilessly disappear...can always be persuaded to come back over with the wag of a finger

I think the CT fry messed me up because they were just too cute growing up. I look at these and I'm like
But it wasn't...it's like a crystally dust that actually stands off their bodies....their tails and fins are red but if you look closely in person ...they're just covered in it. I'm absolutely stumped. It hasn't made anybody ill so I don't know what to think. But here's my theory...if anybody cares

Maybe they'll grow out of this...or into it as their scales start forming
