Bought my new green thick lip gouramis

i have just recenlty bought one male and one female green thick lip gouramis and i was told they are hard too breed, i have them in with 6 platys at the moment but i was wondering how hard it is to breed them(i have a 16 gallon tank uk)
and could you guve me some tips how to breed them aswell thankyou

I don't really know exactly but i found this "These are some of the easiest gouramis to breed. The males like making bubblenests. They are also less likely to get rough when the females are not ready for spawning. They lay some 500 eggs, which hatch in around a day. The fry become free swimming in around 2 days. "
